The Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been successfully functioning since 2002. The department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) since its inception has been continuously fostering academic excellence through industry academy collaboration especially integrating industry demands of ICT skills in the core curriculum of the CSE program. Department is committed to encourage students/researchers to carry out innovative research in the field of Computer Science & Engineering, keeping excellence in focus and deliver quality services to match the needs of the technical education system, industry and society. CSE Department undergraduate program B.Sc.in Computer Science & Engineering, offers the students a strong background in the core technical areas and exposure to the cutting-edge technologies where their engineering contribution will be utilized. The department provides an ideal environment for the student to specialize in contemporary fields of Computer Science including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, computer Network, computer architecture, database management system, digital system design and software engineering.
The mission of CSE department is to develop qualified and competent human resources with standard teaching by ensuring up-to-date curriculum, classroom, lab facilities, and overall teaching quality improvement through training, workshops, seminars, industry collaboration etc., while conducting innovative research. The graduates of the department are serving in many reputed IT companies at home and abroad. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is regularly organizing seminars, workshops, and events such as Google Crowdsource, Mozilla Firefox, ICT Expo, Inter University Programming Contest etc. The students of the department are regularly participating in different programming contests, ICT Expo etc.
