About Program

The City University follows a model of higher education consisting of semester, courses, credit hours, continuous evaluation and letter grading. In keeping its mission and goals, The University strives to ensure high academic standards by implementing well-designed curricula, carefully selecting quality students and faculty, utilizing modern and effective instructional methods and aids and by continuous monitoring with rigorous evaluation of all the pertinent activities.

Course Duration

Four (4) years program divided into eight (8) semesters.

Courses to be offered

Considering the need of the country and to train up professionals in different fields of agriculture with a view to boost up the production of crops, fishes and live-stock, the following important courses are proposed to offer. The courses are included General Education Courses (5 courses), Agriculture Core Courses (37 courses) covering crop husbandry, management and production, protection and preservation of crops, products and by-products,quality and nutrition to achieve food safety and security of the country.

Program structure

There are 2(Two) equal Semesters, Spring (January – June) and Fall (July - December). The duration of each Semester are 22 working weeks including final examination. The Academic Calendar provides deadlines for registration; add/drop courses; withdrawals; examinations; publication of results; holidays etc. This has financial and academic implications too.
