Short Introduction

Sabrina Jahan Rimy is a Lecturer of Entomology under the Faculty of Agriculture at the City University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is used to carry out different research of entomology specially mites in different field and laboratory conditions with proper management tactics. Experimental history of working as research assistant in Laboratory of Applied Entomology & Acarology in BAU. Different studies in Acarology in several conditions was one of his major tasks in MS studies. It is a matter of joy that recently I am enlisted to Bangladesh Entomological Society as a member. I would like to engage myself in different social impactful activities such as debating, anti-drug movement, tree plantation and so on. Still now I am working as academic member of Bangladesh Biology Olympiad (a non-profit organization, developing scientific mindedness throughout the country since 2013).

Teaching experience

Worked  as  research  assistant  in  Laboratory  of  Applied  Entomology  &  Acarology,  BAU  from  2019-2022.

Research Interest

Advance  management  tactics  of  different  mite  species,  Specificity  and  parallel  evolution  of  host  parasite  in  mites,  Molecular  markers  for  the  phylogenetic  of  mites  and  other  insects.
