About Us
Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) has ushered in huge advances in civilization, including electrical power system, electronics, communication, industrial control systems, and robotics; emphasizing on variety of fields and with challenging positions in electrical industries, as well as chemical, medical, metallurgical, textile, railway, petroleum, and other non-electrical industries. EEE deals with all aspects of electricity and electronics, ranging from nationwide power grids down to integrated circuits. The EEE department began its journey with a four-year Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering degree in 2013, with these opportunities in mind. This department has positioned itself as a top EEE department in the country over the last 9 years. The four-year undergraduate curriculum, laboratory and research facilities will provide undergraduates with the background knowledge and abilities needed to pursue a variety of engineering careers both locally and globally. Students are encouraged to participate in seminars, workshops, and industry affiliations in addition to classroom instruction.
The curriculum aims to produce well-rounded individuals with strong engineering abilities as well as well-built social and ethical principles. A diverse choice of engineering courses is available, all of which are built on a firm foundation of mathematics, physics, engineering theories, and experimental practice. The undergraduate curriculum has three major study concentrations in Power, Electronics and Communication Engineering.
The department's faculty members are well-educated and research-oriented. This final year thesis and projects of EEE department focus strongly on cutting-edge research and technologies. Faculty members have research collaboration with renowned laboratories, research organizations, and industries. Faculty members and students regularly participate in national and international conferences and seminars and publish journal papers on a regular basis. The department has robust extracurricular and co-curricular activities such as performed through their respective clubs: Robotics Club, Language and Cultural Club. To give students real-life experience, the department hosts seminars with internal and external scholars, company visits, annual picnics, various sports contests, EEE fest (ESPECTRA), and other events.
The Department of EEE is excited to collaborate with all of you- students, academic colleagues from all around the world, alumni, industries, and government agencies – to generate knowledgeable, professional engineers for a sustainable future.
