Short Introduction

Arjuna Akter is a lecturer of Bangladesh Studies under the General Education Department of City University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. She has obtained a B.A. (Honours) in 2021 (examination held in 2022) in History and an M.A. in 2022 (examination held in 2023) in History from the University of Dhaka. She has obtained the first class 1st position in both B.A. and M.A. Her research interest is in the field of Historical Research on women, indigenous people, and different nationalist movements during the colonial period and War of Independence.

• Lecturer,  History  of  the  Emergence  of  Bangladesh,  Daffodil  International  University  (DIU).
• Lecturer,  Bangladesh  Studies,  Northern  University  Bangladesh  (NUB).
• Lecturer,  Bangladesh  Studies,  Department  of  General  Education  (GED),  City  University.

Research Interest

Historical  Research  on  women,  indigenous  people,  and  different  nationalist  movements  during  the  colonial  period  and  War  of  Independence.
