Short Introduction

I am Israt Jahan Munny, currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at City University. Prior to joining City University, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jahangirnagar University. My research interests encompass Computer Vision, Image Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, where I am dedicated to exploring innovative solutions and advancing knowledge in these fields. I have authored several research papers, some of which are currently under peer review in reputable journals. I was honored to receive the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship for the academic year 2023–24, awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST), in recognition of my contributions during my MS program. Throughout my academic journey at Jahangirnagar University, spanning both my BSc and MSc studies (2018–2024), I was consistently recognized for academic excellence and received the Complementary Education Scholarship for outstanding performance in all academic years. I am passionate about both research and teaching, striving to inspire students and contribute meaningfully to the academic community through continuous learning and scholarly endeavors.
