Short Introduction

Tania Afroz Toma is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at City University. Previously, she served as a Lecturer and Program Coordinator at Rabindra Maitree University, Kushtia. She holds both MSc and BSc in ICT from Islamic University, Kushtia, with research focusing on deep learning applications in medical imaging. Her expertise includes AI, machine learning, medical image analysis, and LLM. Beyond academia, she has received several notable awards, including the University Merit Scholarship, the Dean’s Award for academic excellence, and the Graduate Research Fellowship from the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh. She was also awarded the ICT Ministry Fellowship for her MSc thesis. In addition, she won the Champion trophy from the Prime Minister in the Bangabandhu Inter-University 2019 SPORTS CHAMPS (Badminton Event).
