Short Introduction

Md. Nuzrul Islam is currently working as a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, City University since March 2020. Before joining City University he served as a Junior Engineer intern at SMEC Bangladesh. He completed his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from UAP in October 2019 with a major in Structural Engineering. His undergraduate thesis topic was ‘Behavior of Steel and Reinforced Concrete under Reversible Load’ under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Iftekhar Anam Currently, he is researching real steel and RC structures to establish a relation between steel or RC structures and earthquake, Seismic behavior, Recycled Concrete, FEM, etc. He is also a lifetime member of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).

Teaching experience

Mr.  Nuzrul  islam  joined  in  the  Department  of  Civil  Engineering  at  City  University  as  a  lecturer  in  2020  and  now  working  as  a  Lecturer  &  Coordinator.  He  has  earned  two  years  experiences  to  promote  a  good  quality  of  teaching  -  learning  environment  to  the  students  to  develop  their  knowledge  and  skills  on  the  Civil  Engineering.
