Short Introduction

Sinthia Haque Eva is currently serving as a Lecturer in the Department of General Education at the City University, Dhaka. Prior to join the City university she had served as a contractual faculty at Daffodil International University. Ms. Eva has completed her BSS and MSS degree from the Department of Government and Politics with CGPA 3.81 and GPA 3.85 respectively from Jahangirnagar University with acquiring the first position. Ms. Eva also obtained Merit Scholarship and Dean’s appreciation letter for her outstanding academic excellence. As part of the master degree she had conducted a thesis, titled by- "Towards the Localization of Sustainable Development Goals: Understanding the Role of Local Government in Bangladesh." Besides, she has collaborated with various organizations such as IRI, UNDP, Plan International and multiple ministries of Bangladesh Government on several research projects that include Human Security, Sustainable Development, Environment Governance and Local Government.

Research Interest

Ms.  Eva  wants  to  make  a  career  in  the  academic  world  with  her  research  interest  in  the  field  of  socio-economic  and  political  development.  Specifically,  her  area  of  interest  includes;  Non-traditional  security,  Sustainable  Development  and  Governance.
