Md. Iftakharul Muhib is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science discipline of the General Education Department under the Faculty of Science and Engineering, City University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Mr. Muhib was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh on 01st September, 1991. He received his B.Sc. (Honors’) and M. Sc. degree in Environmental Sciences from Department of Environmental Sciences, Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Mr. Muhib also worked as research assistant at Atomic Energy Research Establishment (AERE), Savar, Dhaka and Center for Advanced Research in Science (CARS), University of Dhaka for several months for conducting thesis and research works. Mr. Muhib has also placed a prestigious rank in the World Scientist and University Rankings 2022 published by AD Scientific Index in the field of Environmental Technology and Engineering. The areas of research interest of Mr. Muhib’s are Environmental Pollution and Occupational Health Safety, Environmental Management System and waste water treatment in Textile Industries, Climate Change, its Adaptation and Mitigation, Solid and Waste Water Management and Environmental Impact Assessment. Mr. Muhib has supervised more than 20 students so far at the B. Sc. Level. Mr. Muhib has published more than 21 national and international research articles and world reputed journals so far and works voluntarily in different peer reviewed journals.
