IQAC City University Organizes Interactive Workshop
Workshop on “Self Assessment Outcome Based Curriculum Development, SAR, Teaching Learning Assessment for Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)” organized by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of City University held at different Seminar Room of five department of City University on Thursday. The Self Assessment Committee (SAC) along with all the faculty members of Department of English (24 faculty), Department of Law (10 faculty), Department of Business Administration (25 faculty) and Department of Computer Science and Engineering-CSE (25 faculty) of City University participated in the daylong training program.
Dr. Binoy Barman, Associate Professor, Daffodil International University (DIU) presented at the Department of English; Gobinda Chandra Mandal, Associate Professor, Department of LAW, University of Dhaka(DU) presented at Department of LAW; Professor Dr. ABM Rahmatullah, Professor, American International University(AIUB) presented at Department of Business Administration; Dr. Forhad Hossain, Professor, Bangladesh University of Textile Engineering (BUTEX) presented at Department of Textile Engineering; Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad and Dr. A. B. M. Alim Al Islam from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) presented at Department of Computer Science & Engineering. All resource persons delivered separate presentations in their respective department on Self Assessment Outcome Based Curriculum Development, Self Assessment Report (SAR), Teaching Learning Assessment and assuring quality in Report writing and the process of assessment in both teaching and learning.
Professor Mustafizur Rahman, Director, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of City University addressed the audience by his welcome speech. The program was organized by the City University IQAC and facilitated by Mr. Md. Safaet Hossain, Additional Director, IQAC of City University. The project was funded by the financial support from the World Bank and the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) of University Grants Commission, Bangladesh.
